Vacancy
✨ Product Lead
A bit about you
- You have 5+ years of experience in product development in a SaaS or e-commerce environment. You know what it's like to work at a small company and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty. You wear both the "product manager" and "product owner" hats.
- You're skilled at evaluating data insights and prioritize your roadmap based on impact on the most important business goals and metrics.
- You're a master at "discovery": you enjoy interviewing customers and can efficiently validate assumptions and support choices with qualitative and quantitative research.
- You understand technology and are always curious about how things work. You quickly familiarize yourself with new software: you'll soon discover how a product feed works and why our CDP integration is awesome.
- You easily connect with people and quickly build mutual trust. You like to keep in touch with your colleagues and customers, making it clear to everyone that you oversee the big picture of the product development process.
A bit about us
- Aiden is a young, 100% founder-owned software company in Utrecht. With a group of great, talented people, we create beautiful software and aim to improve the way e-commerce works.
- Our goal: to make it easier for consumers to find the right product or service.
- We do this with our SaaS platform for guided selling, which our customers (online stores) use to create their guided selling apps (a.k.a. product finders). You can try out out one of our apps here. And here you can read about the projects we've worked on in the past year.
- We're a small team and we like it that way. Our customers like it too. And it means lots of responsibility and freedom for our team.
- We're an ambitious group of people. But that doesn't mean we're an 'always-on' company. We give you the freedom and flexibility to do what you need to do.
What you're going to do
- You'll be in charge of 2 products:
- The "guided selling frontend" that e-commerce visitors use to choose a product.
- The "guided selling backend" where employees of those stores log in to create and improve their guided selling apps.
- You'll tackle our main product challenges. For example:
- How do we prioritize incremental improvements versus new features? Who do we make happy with what? And how does this relate to our MRR targets for 2025?
- What do we need to do to improve our product market fit for enterprise customers?
- How would you want to use AI to make our product even better (and commercially more attractive)?
- To do this, you'll work together with your colleagues from product, sales, and CSM. And of course with our customers, the stores. They often enjoy thinking along and testing.
- You'll have a lot of freedom to shape and implement the product strategy. As long as you can justify why something is important, we'll give you the trust and resources to make it happen. As far as we're concerned, your responsibility ends only at your own ambition.
What we're offering
We're not an IT consultancy, so we won't put you in a lease car. What we do offer — besides a great salary — is a fun workplace with some benefits that the big players don't give you:
- Mainly this: you work at a small company. Whatever role you have, you always have a direct impact on how we work and grow.
- You learn from our current approach, playbooks, and tech stack. And together with your product colleagues, you work to make these a bit better every day.
- Our workdays are flexible. Stand-ups are at 9:30. You work from home or at the office in Utrecht. Since #COVID, we see each other about 1-2x per week at the office (more is allowed), otherwise we work from home.
- Vacation days. You get 25 of those based on a 40 hour work week. You can also work 32 hours.
- New-parent time! If you have a child, we give you 2 extra weeks on top of the regular leave. This time doesn't count against your other vacation days.
How to apply
- Prepare your CV and a brief description of why you're a good fit for us.
- Send it to us at ikwilwerken@aiden.cx.
- We'll let you know within a few days if we see a potential match.
