Aiden is looking for a new colleague to drive our European expansion.
A bit about you
- You don't mind hard work, but you prefer to work smart. You know how to make the most of the tools available, and if needed, you’re not afraid to go out and craft yourself a better set of tools.
- With at least 4 years of sales experience in a European SaaS environment, you’ve led demos, closed deals, and worked independently.
- You understand that sales isn’t about who can shout the loudest—it’s about connecting with people. You enjoy discovering what motivates potential clients and how to win them over. You're creative, proactive, and skilled at selling a vision.
- Bonus points if your e-commerce experience goes beyond just being a person who buys stuff online. You know the key players and understand how online stores operate.
- You’re fluent in English, and if you also speak German or another European language, even better.
- Most importantly: you love winning. Few things are more satisfying than convincing clients and securing that signature.

- Aiden is a young, ambitious software company based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Our team of 10 builds and sells innovative software used by 150+ online stores.
- Our mission: to make it easier for consumers to find the right product or service. We achieve this through our SaaS platform for guided selling, which allows our clients (online stores) to create product finders for their customers.
- We’re a small company—and we like it that way. Our clients appreciate the personal touch it brings, and for our team, it means greater responsibility and freedom.

What you're going to do
You will be responsible for our growth in the European mid-market. These are online stores with revenues between €10 and €200 million in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Nordics. These markets are new to us, but ideally not (entirely) for you.
In the first month, you know:
- our software inside out
- the segments in the market and their most common pain points
- our sales processes and approach
In the first quarter, you will:
- independently create your first opportunities and give demos
- ultimately take on the entire sales cycle: from outbound, to demo, to contracting (we don't do BDRs!)
In the first year, you have:
- gained control over the pipeline and got it to grow consistently, both qualitatively and quantitatively
- attracted ever larger customers and increased the order value
That's just the beginning. As far as we are concerned, your growth path and responsibility end with your ambition and results.
On a day-to-day basis you work closely with your counterpart Bart (who focuses on the Benelux), and Aiden's founders Simon and Marja (who take care of enterprise sales).

- Our working days are flexible. Standups are at 9.30 am. You work from home or at the office in Utrecht. Since #corona, we've seen each other at the office about 1-2 times a week (more is allowed), and we also work from home.
- Vacation days. That's what you get 25 of them.
- New Parent Time! If you have a child, we will give you an extra 2 weeks on top of the regular leave. That time does not count in your further vacation days.
